Test and Certification Expert

We're currently seeking a seasoned Lifting and Working at Height Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic TIC team. As a critical member of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our lifting equipment.
Your expertise will enable you to inspect and test a wide range of equipment, from runways and crane structures to overhead travelling cranes. You'll also conduct site surveys, provide expert advice to customers, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain the hire fleet and upskill the team.
A competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, will be offered to the successful candidate. In addition to this, they'll also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a company van, up to 25 days annual leave, and a contributory pension scheme.
About the Role:
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
- Develop and implement strategies for equipment maintenance and repair
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the hire fleet and upskill the team
- Provide expert advice to customers on equipment selection and use
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Seasoned experience in inspecting and testing heavy equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driving license
- LEEA qualifications highly desirable
