We're seeking a highly skilled Test and Certification Expert to join our GAP Group LTD team. As part of our Test, Inspection and Certification (TIC) team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our lifting equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in inspection and testing, working at height, and equipment maintenance. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in these areas and be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests of lifting equipment, including runways, crane structures, and overhead travelling cranes. This involves assessing equipment condition, identifying potential hazards, and implementing necessary repairs or replacements.

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, will be offered to the successful candidate. In addition to this, they will also receive a range of benefits, including a company van, up to 25 days annual leave, and a contributory pension scheme.

About the Role:
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
- Develop and implement strategies for equipment maintenance and repair
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the hire fleet and upskill the team
- Provide expert advice to customers on equipment selection and use

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in inspecting and testing lifting equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driving license
- LEEA qualifications highly desirable
