Join Computacenter as a Desktop Support Specialist in Holyhead and contribute to delivering intermediate to advanced desktop installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting services. This role involves providing basic Wintel server installation, configuration, administration, and break-fix solutions.

In this position, you'll deliver hands-on technical IT support to one of our key customers operating across multiple UK sites. If you have a passion for IT and some knowledge of desktop/laptop technologies and Windows operating systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The role will be based onsite at one of our clients' offices in Holyhead. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Configuration, support and troubleshooting services in the Wintel environment
  • Providing basic desktop support, offering simple fixes and fixing known errors
  • Provide effective and efficient customer service to the customer
  • Communicate with the customer keeping them informed of progress to avoid escalations
  • Becoming hardware and software skilled and accredited through the appropriate vendor training programmes.
