Community Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Community Family Support Specialist to join our team in Essex, UK. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with families to build strong relationships and promote positive change.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with children and families with complex needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage their own caseload.
You will be expected to operate flexibly to meet the needs of families, including some out-of-hours work. A driving licence and car are essential for this role. You will work across Braintree and Witham in Mid Essex, occasionally travelling around the county.
As a Community Family Support Specialist, you will provide practical and specialist advice, act as a lead coordinator for other support services, and manage safeguarding risks to children. You will also take the lead on an area of professional practice for the team, supporting colleagues and liaising with external professionals.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £32,234 per annum, plus benefits such as 26 days' annual leave, free parking, and a local authority pension scheme.
