Job Description:

Protocol Education is seeking a highly dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a secondary school setting. As a Teaching Assistant (SEN), you will play a vital role in providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Support: Collaborate closely with teachers to provide individualized support and assistance to students with SEN, helping with class activities, providing additional explanations, and adapting learning materials as needed.
  2. One-on-One Assistance: Offer focused support to individual students, providing guidance and reinforcement to help them overcome challenges and thrive academically and socially.
  3. Small Group Work: Facilitate small group activities, fostering collaboration and creating a supportive learning environment for students with SEN.
  4. Behaviour Management: Employ effective strategies to promote positive behavior and create a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
