Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Manager to join our team at La Mer in Heathrow Airport. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales and education experts to achieve sales and customer service targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Performance and Productivity: Direct all activity to achieve business goals, targets, and market share increase for the account. Monitor business and analyze results to recognize areas of opportunity and growth, implementing strategies to build and impact overall business opportunities.
  2. Team Management: Ensure the team is coached, developed, and motivated in all aspects of the business. Conduct induction training of team members, delegate tasks efficiently, and run informative and motivational team meetings.
  3. Guest Ownership Programme/Luxury Clienteling: Ensure each expert is accountable for developing and managing their own guest relationship and luxury clienteling. Introduce the client profile card, capture guest information, and follow up procedures.
  4. Communication: Communicate regularly and effectively with in-store management, the Sales & Education Executive, and the team to keep them informed of targets, initiatives, and activities.
  5. Promote the Image of the Company: Ensure all team members maintain excellent standards of personal grooming, adhere to La Mer hygiene standards, and merchandise the counter to comply with La Mer standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience preferably within cosmetics.
  • The ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling.
  • Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events.
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
