Care Worker for Children and Young People in Residential Setting

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Care Worker to join our team at One Call 24 LTD. As a Youth Residential Support Specialist, you will provide vital care and support to children and young people in our residential setting, helping them achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Individualised Support: Provide individualised care and support to each child or young person, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and circumstances.
- Family and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with families and community members, keeping them informed about their child's or young person's progress and involving them in decision-making processes.
- Health and Wellbeing: Promote health and wellbeing through healthy eating, exercise, and lifestyle choices, helping children and young people develop positive habits and routines.
- Sleep-in Shifts: Work sleep-in shifts to provide around-the-clock care and support, ensuring the safety and security of children and young people.
- Partnership Working: Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and external agencies to ensure effective partnership working, achieving better outcomes for children and young people.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, driving continuous improvement and excellence in practice.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 1 year care experience in the UK, preferably working with children and young people, within the last 2 years. Enhanced DBS and sleep-in shifts are also essential.
Estimated Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
