Job Title: Support Worker - Young Adults

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Hyde Lodge, providing care and support to vulnerable adults with severe and complex learning difficulties. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with our residents to promote their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management
  • Encourage and facilitate residents' participation in activities, such as arts and crafts, cookery, music, and gardening
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably with vulnerable adults
  • Ability to work a rota pattern, including weekends and evenings
  • Full UK driving licence (2+ years) and willingness to drive for work purposes
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults
