Job Title: Personal Assistant/Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant/Support Worker to join our team at UKCIL. The successful candidate will work with a 12-year-old boy with Profound Learning Disabilities, providing support and companionship to access the community and engage in social activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the individual
  • Accompany the individual to community activities, such as play parks, swimming, and outdoor events
  • Encourage engagement in social activities and build relationships
  • Support the individual in accessing the community and participating in leisure activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with Profound Learning Disabilities
  • Ability to provide personal care and support
  • Full UK driving license and access to own car
  • Child-centred approach and passion for disability rights

Working Hours: Up to 12 hours per week, term time, and 16 hours school holidays (average of 13 hours per week). Flexible days and times to be discussed.

Salary: £13.00 per hour
