Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, working closely with key school staff and existing behaviour plans to improve levels of pupil behaviour exhibited in class.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 or group basis, across the age and ability spectrum.
  • Work alongside key school staff to implement behaviour plans and improve pupil behaviour.
  • Build supportive working relationships with pupils, acting as a mentor and role model to improve overall attainment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children is essential.
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work using your own initiative.
  • Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.
  • UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of £38.
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis.
