We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils with challenging behaviour, using positive behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans.
- Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils, promoting social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of pupils with behaviour difficulties.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as behaviour specialists and therapists, to develop and implement behaviour interventions.
- Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
