Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, working closely with key school staff and existing behaviour plans to improve levels of pupil behaviour exhibited in class.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 or group basis, across the age and ability spectrum
  • Support pupils in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for pupils
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Team Teach training desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK
