Clinical Medicines Specialist in Primary Care

Job Summary
The Pharmacist Network is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medicines Specialist to join our team in Ashington. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to resolve medication-related issues and improve patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting practice staff with prescription and medication queries, helping to utilize skill mix and ensure better access to healthcare. Your expertise in clinical medicines advice will be invaluable in addressing public and social care needs of patients.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity, combining your clinical skills with leadership experience in primary care. You will support prescribing practices across the PCN, providing clinical leadership on medicines optimization and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Experience using clinical systems Emis / System1
- Completed CPPE Pathway / currently on CPPE pathway
