Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Urgent Care division. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations, and using your advanced clinical practice skills to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical teams during shifts and make decisions on treatment, including prescribing medication or referring to specialist services.
- Support existing clinical care to enhance capacity and capability within multi-professional teams.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification.
- Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
- Evidence of completion of study in paediatric minor illness or willingness to develop these skills.
- Evidence of study in paediatric minor injury or willingness to develop these skills.
