Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their educational needs.
The role involves working 1-1 with a Y5 boy who requires support and guidance throughout his primary years. He has autism and ADHD, and we are looking for someone to be a positive influence in his life and help him make a smooth transition.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Supporting children in developing their knowledge and skills, both within class and on a one-to-one basis.
- Assisting the class teacher in preparing activities, lesson plans, and small group work.
Key requirements for this role include:
- UK residency and a valid passport.
- Experience working with children.
- Able to ensure the child's safety, happiness, and stimulation at all times.
- Organise daily tasks for the child and work one-to-one with pupils.
- A valid DBS check is essential.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £90-£105 per day, depending on experience.
