About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents at Gloucestershire House. This purpose-built facility, along with six bungalows, provides a welcoming home for 36 adults with physical disabilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a diverse range of engaging social and recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
- Organize outings and events, fostering a sense of community and providing opportunities for social interaction.
- Utilize your creativity to develop innovative activities that promote well-being, personal growth, and enjoyment.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities are inclusive and meet individual needs.
About You
While prior experience in activity coordination is not essential, a passion for creating enriching experiences for others is crucial. Excellent organizational skills, a flair for creativity, and the ability to build rapport with residents are highly valued.
A manual driving license held for at least two years is required for this role, as you will be responsible for transporting residents to various activities and events.
