Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activities Worker to join our team at Gloucestershire House, a purpose-built building providing support for 36 adults with physical disabilities. As an Activities Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering a range of engaging social and recreational activities, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver a variety of activities, including outings, events, and workshops, to cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive activities program.
- Support residents in developing their skills and confidence, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized activity plans, ensuring residents' needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
- No prior experience in activity work is necessary, but an artistic flair, great organizational skills, or interest in arranging fantastic social activities is a must.
- A manual driving license held for at least 2 years is required.
- Previous experience of activities work or working with and supporting people with disabilities would be advantageous.
