The Role

You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class contract controls, coupled with P&L performance across Projects, which has designated multi-disciplinary services. You will be accountable for the commercial and cost management of a project or programme from inception to close-out, ensuring maximum efficiencies and full compliance with all B-UK governance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate live forecasting taking into account the project programme and reporting in accordance with the respective SAP accounts.
  • Ensure SAP accurately reflects project and framework contract status in terms of actual and forecast revenue, costs, work in progress (WIP), and obligations.
  • Implement robust project controls and accurate reporting of progress/work done, estimated costs-to-complete, factoring in all contractors' responsibilities.
  • Administer NEC3/4 Contracts, including the creation of early warnings, payment certificates, compensation event notifications, and quotations, while providing suitable responses to client-created communications.
  • Demonstrate experience of using electronic contract administration systems (Fastdraft, CEMAR, Conject, Aconex).
  • Maintain proper records for all financial information to ensure audits and cost assurance are readily available.
  • Provide robust estimates and quotations aligned to scope, making due allowance for all risks and opportunities.
  • Align with the overall commercial strategy within B-UK to ensure goals, targets, and objectives are delivered.
