About the Job

This Forklift Truck Training Department Lead role is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the driver training department. The successful candidate will be a qualified instructor with experience in leading teams and managing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing training programs to meet customer needs.
  • Managing a team of forklift driver trainers to ensure high-quality training delivery.
  • Recruiting, inducting, and training new staff members when necessary.
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining key customer accounts and developing relationships.

Estimated salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
