The role offers a chance to work on a broad range of family law matters while being part of a firm that prides itself on client care and delivering exceptional service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, separation, financial remedies, and private children law matters.
- Advising on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and complex financial settlements.
- Representing clients in negotiations and mediations, as well as in court where necessary.
- Drafting legal documents, such as consent orders, statements, and agreements.
- Providing compassionate and practical advice to clients, often during emotionally challenging times.
- Working closely with colleagues in other departments, such as private client and property, to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
- Keeping up to date with developments in family law and applying this knowledge to your cases.
**Ideal Candidate:**
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in family law. You will be passionate about helping clients through challenging circumstances, combining technical legal expertise with empathy and strong communication skills.
You will need:
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in family law.
- Strong technical knowledge of family law, including divorce, financial settlements, and children matters.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver a high level of client care.
- A proactive and client-focused approach, with strong organisational and time management skills.
