Job Summary:

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Harrogate. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a brand ambassador for Sosandar, taking pride in setting and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Support the Store Manager in fostering an environment of passion, enthusiasm, and in-depth knowledge of the brand.
  • Assist in managing overall operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly and complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clear and strong brand image by creating eye-catching visual merchandising and upholding high standards.
  • Work with the Store Manager to manage costs and influence commercial decisions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for any customer queries or concerns, ensuring a positive outcome.
  • Coach and develop your team to deliver exceptional shopping experiences, maximising productivity and profitability. Provide regular feedback and training to lead the team.
  • Be innovative and take ownership, working with autonomy in the managers absence.
  • Lead the team with a positive, anything is possible attitude.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Assistant Manager within a similar environment, with a passion and love for fashion.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage costs and drive sales growth.
