Academic Team Lead for Higher Education

Set amidst beautiful campus grounds in Cheshire, our University Centre boasts cutting-edge facilities, including an Equestrian Centre, working farm, veterinary nursing centre, and licensed zoo facility. Your team will be instrumental in shaping our curriculum, driving operational enhancements, and contributing to the achievement of our strategic plan.
Salary
£35,665 - £40,926 per annum, reflecting your expertise and dedication. Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including 35 days annual leave, generous pension scheme with 28.68% employer contribution, on-site gym membership, Pluxee reward scheme, and developmental support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the realisation of our vision as a leading-edge provider of land-based higher education
- Develop and drive operational enhancements, collaborating with Senior Leaders and colleagues
- Teach undergraduate programmes, inspiring students to succeed
- Lead a small team of academic teaching staff, leveraging prior leadership experience
- Drive improvement of KPIs, taking lead responsibility in specific areas of programme activity
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in a related discipline
- We seek individuals with qualifications in Bio Veterinary Science or Equine-related subjects
- Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
- Relevant experience within the subject sector and education sector
- Experience of teaching within Higher or Further education is highly desirable
- Self-motivated with ability to motivate others and enthuse learners to succeed
