We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at ZEISS Vision Care UK. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing payroll operations by leveraging expertise in payroll systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on payroll systems, software, and processes, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Assess and evaluate current payroll processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement, automation, and streamlining.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll systems with other HRIS and financial systems.
- Analyse and interpret complex payroll data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls in payroll operations.
- Provide training and guidance to payroll administrators and other stakeholders on system functionalities, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary updates to processes and systems.
- Act as a liaison with external vendors and payroll service providers, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Generate and analyse payroll reports to provide insights, trends, and recommendations to management.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of payroll software and best in class payroll process.
- Previous experience working to implement a new payroll software.
- Previous experience with the MoorePay payroll system would be desirable but not essential.
