About the Role

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Decontamination Technician to join our team on a bank basis. As a Decontamination Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of decontamination and reprocessing of medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day reprocessing of equipment required for clinical use.
  • Follow demonstrated training and work instructions to ensure production is to a high standard.
  • Work to deadlines and maintain a quality service to patients and customers.
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.

Requirements

  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of effective communication skills when dealing with staff and users/customers.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and follow routine and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and ability to plan and prioritize work requirements.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
