Job Title: Business Continuity Manager

Location: Flexible working arrangements available.

Salary: £65,000 + depending on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Business Continuity Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and safeguarding our organisational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our business continuity management programme, ensuring we are prepared to tackle and mitigate the effects of any business interruptions.
  • Support all business plan activities, building a robust framework that enhances the resilience of our critical services and products.
  • Ensure our operations meet BAE Systems compliance requirements for Business Continuity and Resilience, contributing to our commitment to excellence and stability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document critical business impacts, recovery plans and priorities.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to support business stakeholders in understanding their business continuity related duties and responsibilities.
  • Maintain agreed certification standards for Business Continuity (ISO22301).
  • Ensure timely corrective action is taken on any detected non-compliances in our business continuity management systems.
  • Liaise with management representatives of customers, subcontractors and suppliers as required.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of ISO Business Continuity Management Systems would be highly advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of risk management and ideally operating in a business continuity environment.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Solid project management experience and application.
  • Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) or equivalent would be highly desirable.
