Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team at East Surrey Hospital. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care to children undergoing elective surgery and planned day case admissions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure seamless patient care. This role offers opportunities for professional development, training, and growth within the NHS.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Delivering high-quality patient care to children undergoing elective surgery and planned day case admissions

- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care

- Assisting in the assessment and planning of care for designated patients from admission to discharge

Essential Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Prioritization skills to ensure seamless patient care

- Relevant experience in paediatrics and management of complex care requirements

- Registration as a nurse and possession of necessary mandatory professional/clinical registration
