Job Description

KPMG Law is a fast-growing part of KPMG. We are seeking a Senior Manager (Solicitor) to support the growth of the Commercial and Technology part of our Commercial, Technology, and Data Legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team providing commercial and regulatory-driven solutions to our clients.

Experience and Background:

The ideal candidate will be a technology and outsourcing lawyer with at least 6 years' PQE, with knowledge of relevant legal disciplines and experience of acting for clients on complex, strategic, and/or international projects.

  • The candidate should have experience in contractual drafting and negotiation gained on national and international projects, across core disciplines such as outsourcing arrangements, IT arrangements, and lawtech.
  • The candidate should have business development experience to lead relationship building and respond to client opportunities.
  • The candidate should have experience of working with demanding clients across various industries and be expert at service delivery.
  • The candidate should be able to take responsibility for servicing and building part of the existing business of the team.
  • The candidate should be able to promote the team's work through participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publication.

Desirable Experience:

Experience in sectors such as Financial services, Life Sciences, and Digital infrastructure would be considered helpful.
