Requirements

The applicant should be a technology and outsourcing lawyer with at least 6 years' PQE, with knowledge of the relevant legal disciplines and experience of acting for clients on complex, strategic, and/or international projects.

The applicant should have experience in contractual drafting and negotiation gained on national and international projects, across the following core disciplines: outsourcing arrangements (both ITO and BPO), IT arrangements (e.g., systems integration, software licensing, IT services, and IT infrastructure arrangements).

The applicant should have experience or an interest in lawtech.

The applicant should have business development experience to lead relationship building (both within KPMG and direct with clients) and respond to client opportunities.

The applicant should have experience of working with demanding clients across a broad spectrum of size and activities and will be expert at service delivery.

The applicant should be expected to take responsibility for servicing and building part of the existing business of the team.

The applicant should help promote the team's work through participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publication.

Experience in some of the following sectors would be considered helpful: Financial services (e.g., banking, insurance, investment management, payment services), Life Sciences, Digital infrastructure (including telecoms and data centres).
