About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer Apprentice to join our team at WSP Global Inc. in Brisbane. As a key member of our Mining, Infrastructure & Project Delivery group, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out assigned civil design work using 12D software, adhering to technical and commercial standards.
  • Assist in drafting work using AutoCAD, as part of an integral team.
  • Take on a lead role in civil or multi-discipline projects, coordinating design and documentation with other engineering and drafting disciplines.
  • Support other sectors of the business on project activities, from feasibility to detailed CAD design.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and be committed to a team approach and outcomes.
  • Represent the company to a professional standard at all times, collaborating across the business on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Typically, 5-10 years of civil design modeling and drafting experience.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD and 12D software.
  • Previous mining or industrial infrastructure experience is highly regarded.
