Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in commercial settings.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring a safe environment for employees and clients.
  • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, adhering to established protocols.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors, restoring their original shine.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment, prioritizing employee well-being.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, upholding industry standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred, demonstrating expertise in the field.
  • Adequate knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team, promoting collaboration and productivity.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines, prioritizing employee safety and well-being.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate for this position is £11.50.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or janitorial work. A driving license is also preferred. English language proficiency is required, and the ability to work in person is essential.

Possible salary range: Based on the job requirements and location, we estimate the salary to be around £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
