Role OverviewThe Inclusion Lead will play a vital role in our school community, working closely with the Head Teacher to develop and implement inclusive practices that promote the highest standards of pupil social, emotional, and mental well-being. This role requires a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, as well as a passion for helping our children achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the Head Teacher in ensuring inclusive practice is developed to promote the highest standards of pupil social, emotional, and mental well-being, and achievement.
- Support the Head Teacher in the day-to-day operation of specific school policies and processes.
- Develop and maintain high-quality SEND provision, supporting individual pupils with SEND, including leading on EHCP annual review meetings and submitting statutory documentation to the local authority.
- Support the development and updating of documentation, including risk management and safety planning for pupils, and lead on specific key documentation under the direction of the Head Teacher.
- As the school's Deputy DSL, assist the Head Teacher with safeguarding and any intervention/administrative duties.
- Support the Head Teacher in development, improvement, and strategic work across the school.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Resilience in working with children with SEMH needs.
- Passion for helping our children achieve their full potential.
A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on skills and experience), as well as a range of employee benefits, including Income Protection, Life Assurance, Health Cash Plan, and EAP. We are committed to delivering inspirational teaching that develops confidence in learning and encourages our pupils to take ownership of their learning and be proud of their achievements.
