As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective care to patients, including personal care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that is tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Engage with patients to promote their independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff support groups and clinical supervision to ensure ongoing professional development and support.

Person Specification:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) level of education with passes in English, maths, and science, or functional skills level 2.
  • Experience in a care setting, developing competencies in basic clinical care.
  • Completion of the Fundamental Care Certificate.
  • ICT competent.
  • PMVA training or willingness and ability to complete prior to start date.
