RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Estimator to join one of our contractors on a permanent basis.

As a customer-focused individual, you will play a key role in maintaining relationships with existing clients and establishing connections with potential clients.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other third parties to deliver high-quality services.
  • Actively monitor tender portals for relevant projects and establish contact to expand our network.
  • Review and evaluate all tender enquiries for completeness and accuracy to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Administrate correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain to ensure timely submission.
  • Organise and attend site visits with suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate collaboration.
  • Obtain pricing in a timely manner to meet submission deadlines and review project costs for accuracy.
  • Assess the levels of business risk on each project to inform decision-making.
  • Compile and provide detailed handover information for all successful bids to the Operations team.
  • Monitor the various stages of all successful bids to ensure costs are kept in line with the forecast.

Requirements:

Highly numerate, uses initiative and solves problems independently.

Proven track record of estimating in building maintenance works.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English.

Full clean driving licence is required, and a DBS will be conducted.

Computer literacy skills and the ability to adapt to using company customer relationship management systems.
