Job Summary

Adapt Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Wrexham. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of process and support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify and address equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Company HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum ONC/HNC in Engineering (ideally both mechanical and electrical).
  • Knowledge of PLCs, Controls, and Motor Drives, AC and DC motors, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical and Mechanical Properties.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
