Maintenance Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Clockwork Organisation Ltd t/a Travail Employment, based in Wrexham.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for conducting electrical and mechanical planned maintenance tasks, as well as reactive/corrective actions to return equipment to expected standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks without supervision.
  • Completes reactive/corrective actions to return equipment to expected standards.
  • Conducts continuous machine observation and measurement to identify potential issues.
  • Uses manuals, failure history, and root cause analysis to develop preventative tasks and improvement projects.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by undertaking preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Regularly uses digital equipment, including Microsoft Office and CMMS.
  • Manages job requests, records breakdowns and PM findings using SAP Fiori.

Requirements:

  • Time served or apprentice-trained Technician with an ONC/HNC/City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Mechanical fault-finding skills with practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic motion control systems.
  • Experience working in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
