Job Title: Pediatric Nurse - Complex Care Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a Pediatric Nurse - Complex Care Specialist, you will work with a young girl with Cornelia De Lange syndrome, ASD, and Bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss, providing bespoke care and support to enable her to stabilize at home and achieve personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients, including tracheostomy care, suction, and ventilation via tracheostomy.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Work closely with our clients and their families to ensure seamless care transitions and support.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in pediatric complex care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in pediatric complex care within the last 2 years.
  • Recent experience in tracheostomy care, suction, and ventilation via tracheostomy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
