Salary

£27,034.77 per annum, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (Fridays until 4pm), with occasional out-of-hours work as required.

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. Your primary role will be to support adults with learning disabilities in achieving greater independence. This involves treating them with respect as fellow citizens and helping them build confidence.

  • Assist individuals in developing their strengths and abilities
  • Provide person-centred support and promote a sense of purpose and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outcome-focused programmes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong awareness of how to support individuals towards greater independence
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
