Job Title: Engineering and Facilities Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering and Facilities Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of Multi-Skilled Engineers, ensuring daily preventative maintenance activities are completed to a high standard, and leading an engineering team to support the day-to-day operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop a team of Multi-Skilled Engineers to drive the effectiveness of the engineering team.
  2. Ensure daily preventative maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and breakdowns are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  3. Lead an engineering team to support the day-to-day operation by delivering planned and reactive maintenance.
  4. Work within the framework of a Business led engineering reliability strategy.
  5. Effective use of SAP PM.
  6. Maintain equipment in line with relevant food safety legislation.
  7. Support the recruitment, motivation, and development of an engineering team.

Requirements:

  1. Structured and practical engineering training (e.g. apprenticeship/HNC/degree).
  2. Knowledge and experience of maintenance preferably in an FMCG environment.
  3. Basic PLC experience and fault-finding diagnostics (Allen Bradley) would be desirable.
  4. Electrical and Mechanical engineering experience.
  5. IT and PC knowledge to use widespread functions within relevant software.
  6. Coaching and mentoring skills.
