1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Role in a Secondary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Barnet, London.

This role involves providing individualised and small group support to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4), under the guidance of the SENCo and classroom teachers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support to students with SEN on a 1:1 basis
  • Collaborate with SENCo, teachers, and parents to ensure students' progress
  • Work in an inclusive and supportive secondary school environment
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities
