Class 1 HGV Driver Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our client's team in Wellesbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for trunking goods throughout the UK, working out of their RDC.

Key Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 6 points on your license (no DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Paid Assessment and Induction on the same day
  • Buddy day if required
Job Details:
  • Working for a fast-growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
  • Long-term ongoing position
  • Monday to Thursday (Friday when/if required)
  • Start times 15:00
  • 40-50 hours per week (on average)
  • Immediate start available
Compensation:
  • Dynamic PAYE rates
  • Days: £16.44 per hour
  • Nights: £17.44 per hour
  • Weekly OT after 42h: £24.66
  • Saturdays and Sundays: £32.88

This position is commutable from Coventry, Stratford upon Avon, Banbury, and Warwick. The role involves logistics, distribution, and supply chain work.
