Class 1 HGV Driver Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our client's team in Wellesbourne, working on an ongoing basis. As a Class 1 HGV driver, you will be responsible for trunking goods throughout the UK, working out of your RDC.

Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 6 points on your license (no DD's, DR's, TT's, or IN's)
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Paid Assessment and Induction on the same day
  • Buddy day if required
Job Details:
  • Working for a fast-growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
  • Long-term ongoing position
  • Monday to Thursday (Friday when required)
  • Start times 15:00
  • 40-50 hours per week (on average)
  • Immediate start available
Compensation:
  • Dynamic PAYE rates
  • Days (Monday to Friday): £16.44 per hour
  • Nights (Monday to Friday): £17.44 per hour
  • Weekly OT after 42 hours: £24.66
  • Saturdays and Sundays: £32.88

This position is commutable from Coventry, Stratford upon Avon, Banbury, and Warwick. The role is part of the Logistics Distribution and Supply chain sector.
