Class 1 HGV Driver Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services. Our client in Wellesbourne is looking for a reliable and skilled driver to work on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 6 points on your license
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Participate in paid assessment and induction on the same day
  • Have the option for a buddy day if required
Working Conditions:
  • Working out of your RDC, you will be trunking goods throughout the UK
  • Monday to Thursday (Friday when/if required) start times 15:00
  • 40-50 hours per week (on average)
  • Immediate start available
Benefits:
  • Dynamic PAYE rates
  • Days Monday to Friday: £16.44 per hour
  • Nights Monday to Friday: £17.44 per hour
  • Weekly OT after 42h: £24.66
  • Saturday and Sunday: £32.88
