Emergency Response Specialist

We are seeking an Emergency Response Specialist to join our team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real contribution to your community as a paid on-call firefighter.
Key ResponsibilitiesSalary: £5,332 per annum plus additional incident call out payments at £16.54 per hour, making the estimated total salary around £25,000-£30,000 depending on the number of hours worked.
You will be required to respond to a range of emergencies, engage with your community, and participate in training and development activities. As an Emergency Response Specialist, you will work closely with other members of the team to ensure effective emergency response and fire safety measures are in place.
Requirements- Physical Fitness: You must be physically fit and able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident.
- Location: You must work and/or live within 5 minutes of the East Cowes Fire Station.
- Certifications: A Standard DBS Check will be required for this position.
