Job Summary:

This Senior Systems Engineering role is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading defence industry company as a key member of the Multi-Function Radar team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for evolving the radar portfolio of existing and brand-new products to address emerging threats in Future Air Dominance.

About the Role:
  • Create innovative solutions to complex technological and operational challenges for Multi-Function Radar systems.
  • Apply systems engineering concepts and methods to provide technical solutions and address engineering problems.
  • Conduct system design analysis to manage trade-offs of system parameters and characterise robust designs.
  • Discern and decompose requirements to system and sub-system level and manage these in an approved toolset such as IBM DOORS Next.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Be a key technical contributor conducting system development and implementation activities, with internal & customer stakeholder engagement, and mentoring of junior engineering peers.
  2. Work together with specialists in diverse engineering fields to realise comprehensive system design solutions.
  3. Plan and undertake system integration and testing.
  4. Contribute to definition and articulation of system acceptance strategies demonstrating system performance across a wide range of operational scenarios.
