About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) Team. The successful candidate will work closely with a Practitioner Psychologist to develop and evaluate new service delivery models for individuals with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and evaluation of new service delivery models for individuals with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving the psychological treatment of service users' problems.

About the Team

The MHTR Team provides psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties who have come into contact with criminal justice services. Our team aims to prevent short-term custodial sentences and reduce reoffending by improving access to psychological interventions and addressing underlying mental health problems.

This role is based in High Wycombe and Aylesbury, with a hybrid approach requiring occasional travel across the allocated area.
