About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert I to join our team at Butterworths Limited Company. This individual will be responsible for creating intermediate-level insights and recommendations that are critical to creating the best features and products for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of best practices for creating training data and evaluating output of AI models and can execute projects with limited oversight from others. They will use their expertise in the legal domain to create cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions with legal data.

About the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization

Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts are subject matter experts in the legal domain, playing a key role in leading the transformation of legal technology. They partner with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to create innovative AI initiatives with legal data.

Responsibilities

  • Performing legal research and analysis
  • Communicating actionable feedback and insights
  • Executing best practices in the creation and maintenance of training data and relevance evaluations. Advocating for Responsible AI
  • Providing support to Data Discovery and Enrichment Leads
  • Participating in presentations to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Have a law degree/GDL
  • Have significant professional legal experience
  • Be competent in legal research and writing
  • Be able to collaborate with your team to advance projects
  • Have basic knowledge or interest of machine learning and natural language processing technologies
  • Have working knowledge or understanding of agile and lean methodologies
  • Be proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, and other similar programs
