The Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Governance Manager to join our team in London. This is a challenging role that involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure robust information governance across our UK Broking and Reinsurance Divisions.

In this role, you will develop and implement an information governance framework that meets the evolving needs of the organization. You will also provide guidance and support to Howden entities in fulfilling their information governance responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an information governance framework that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on information governance matters, including data protection, privacy, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure information governance compliance throughout the organization.
  • Maintain information governance registrations and meet proficiency requirements through ongoing training and alignment to internal policies.
  • Lead assigned projects, including integration of new business acquisitions and new policy administration systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of information governance principles and best practices.
  • Experience with information governance compliance in complex, multi-company environments.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing information governance frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of information technologies and data security best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Estimated salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
