About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Officer to join our Special Care and Paediatric Service in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to children and adults with additional needs who require specialist care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide preventive care and dental treatment to children and adults with additional needs in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community locations.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure effective communication and care planning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current full registration as a Dental Surgeon with the General Dental Council.
  • Foundation (Vocational) Training or equivalence.
  • Current Performers List Number.
  • BDS (or equivalent) degree.
