We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Officer to join our Special Care and Paediatric Service at Solent NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality dental care to adults and children with complex needs, including those with physical, sensory, intellectual, mental, medical, social impairment or disability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preventive care and dental treatment to adults and children with complex needs in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community locations.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and examinations to identify dental health needs and develop treatment plans that address these needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote good oral health and prevent dental problems.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
- Current full registration as a Dental Surgeon with the General Dental Council.
- Foundation (Vocational) Training or equivalence and current Performers List Number.
- BDS (or equivalent) degree.
