We are seeking an experienced and motivated dentist to join our dynamic Special Care Dental Service team at Solent NHS Trust. As a Senior Dental Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality dental care to patients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Examine patients and provide a comprehensive dental care assessment
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account complex medical co-morbidities and patient management issues
- Provide routine and urgent dental care to patients, including emergency treatment and domiciliary visits
- Work collaboratively with dental nurses and therapists to achieve UDA targets and comply with NHS regulations
- Identify and manage medical emergencies, including leading the dental team in first-line management and organizing training and resources
